§ 74-162. Main location and trench depth.

(a)

Water mains shall, in general, be located between the curb and sidewalk. Water mains parallel to the curbs shall be located at least three feet from the back of the curb.

(b)

Trenches shall be excavated to a depth sufficient to provide a minimum of five and one-half feet of cover as measured from the top of the pipe to the finished grade.
