§ 70-31. Prohibiting unlicensed motor vehicles to be driven in public parks.

  • (a)

    The term "unlicensed motor vehicle," for the purposes of this article shall be defined as every vehicle which is self-propelled by an electric, gasoline, diesel or ethanol motor which is not licensed by the state pursuant to the terms of chapter 625 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any individual to operate an unlicensed motor vehicle in any area located within the village which has been designated and posted at entrances and exits of such area as public parks.

    (c)

    Any individual violating subsection (b) of this section shall be subject to a fine of not less than $25.00 and not more than $500.00 for each incident.
