§ 62-7. Subdivision restricted.

Any person shall subdivide or resubdivide any parcel of land within the corporation limits of the village or within 1½ miles of such corporate limits but not within the corporate limits of any other municipality, unless a subdivision plat has been reviewed by the planning commission, with recommendation for approval by the plats officer and approved by the president and board of trustees of the village stated by this chapter. Exemptions to this established procedure are as stated in section 62-8.
