§ 58-1. Supervision and enforcement.

All public streets, alleys, sidewalks and other public ways in the village shall be under the supervision of the public works committee. The committee shall have supervision over all work thereon, the cleaning thereof and shall be charged with the enforcement of all provisions of this code and other ordinances relating to such public places, except traffic ordinances, and is hereby authorized to enforce such provisions.
