§ 2-149. Commencement of term.

  • Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/3.1-10-15, each newly elected president of the board of trustees shall be required to take the oath of president as set forth in section 2-142 during the first regularly scheduled meeting in May following the election of the president in the spring of that year. If for some reason the newly elected president is unable to take the oath of office during the first meeting in May, such person shall take office as soon thereafter as possible.
