§ 10-84. Closing hours.

  • (a)

    No person or entity licensed under this article under a class A license shall keep open for business between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on weekdays. No person licensed under a class A license shall sell, permit to be consumed or sold, or give away any alcoholic liquor during the times specified in this subsection (a).

    (b)

    No person or entity licensed under this article under a class B or class C license shall keep open for business between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., and no person licensed under a class B or class C license shall sell at retail, permit to be consumed or sold, or give away any alcoholic liquor during the times specified in this subsection (b).

    (c)

    No club licensed under this article under a class D license shall keep open for business between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., and no club licensed under a class D license shall sell, permit to be consumed or sold, or give away any alcoholic liquor during the times specified in this subsection.

    (d)

    No person or entity licensed under this article under a class E license shall keep open for business between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Any person or premises licensed under a class E license shall be allowed to open on Sundays between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

    (e)

    A person or entity which has a class G license may be open for the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises of a licensee only Monday through Saturday from 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. irrespective of the other provisions of this section.
